Two years ago I decided I wanted to buy a 4-stroke Yammi and came across this forum. I knew I wanted a long track sled and bought a stock 03 RX-1 Mnt 2 years ago. Here's a couple of pic from the earlier days.
First Mods were 3 inchs of foam added to stock seat, MPI dropdown brackets, 05 Mnt skis and 05 clutching.
Next mod was the wildchild rider forward kit and low windshield to accomodate the clearance issues. I also added some powermadd handguards for a little extra protection from the elements.
Then came the Apex seat, MPI extension and rear heat exchanger.
Then I discovered I cracked my H arm and rails on my stock skid. AD Boivin had just introduced there new ZX-2 suspension so I thought I'd give it a go.
I'd like to thank all the guys on this forum for helping me out and I'll be a Yammi owner for life.

Awesome!!! They are always fun when you add new stuff to them isnt it!!! The engines are so reliable I think a guy could go through 2-3 complete suspensions systems with no engine work! LOL
Nice sled I bet she is fun!

Just got back from the first good test ride 85 KM. I'm heating up the garage to go over the skid. So far the transfer is great and the sled really handles great in the corners. With the latest mods (seat, rider forward, ZX-2) it feels like a new sled. I can really feel the power in the engine now and get it to the ground where it's needed. Oh ya sent in the Lifetime membership today been meaning to do that for awhile.
Later I'll post pics after I look over the sled.

Checked over the skid no loose bolts. Used TY member (can't rember who) suggestion and set torq wrench to 46 ft/lbs. All bolts clicked. The revolver plate rubber bushing look good so far I'm going to keep an eye on those. Very little snow sticks to this skid.

I've only had it out a handful of times 200 km. I played on the local power lines yesterday and it was staying on top nice. I'll be getting an 1.5 or 1.75 track next year and be putting extroverts on it. We are heading up to Abitibi Canyon soon and that's going to be the real test. The Canyon is the only area around here that has any real hills. http://www.extremetourscochrane.com/Sle ... anyon.html
That's the location of the canyon. We ride up there by ourselves but the link offers some great pictures/video.

Fianlly got up to the Canyon. About 20 cm of fresh snow with a really good base. Sled held up nice. I'm upgrading my track sooner than later thinking challeger extreme 2 inch I was thinking about the 1.5 inch crossover but I think I'm going 2 inch paddle. I don't have to my photos of my sled other than the after math of a roll over. The ZX-2 handles great in the deep stuff great transfer but I need more traction.
Side note my buddy's just bought his sled in the states and the clutching is step-up for 5000-7000 feet. He keeps hitting the rev limiter and loses a ton of power. Parts on order to fix problem but still wanted to play in the hills.
07 Apex mnt
Different hill lost it at the top
My roll over hit a solid piece of frozen earth threw me to the right and over she went. No damage

I have a polaris 2.25 finger track, sitting in the garage. Picked it up off snowest. Just didn't have time to put it on this year.
