With me it would not matter I prefer to be warm and have a bit of wind protection . Just felt too much like a skidoo to me . I'll have to keep my RX1 untill somebody comes out with a 4 stroke that has a decent ridding position .

I guess you haven't seen the Attacks windshield? And as far as riding position I dont think you can say its not a good one..its way better riding position than a ski-poo, I personally think its a perfect position...its as good if not better than polaris fusion, and a f-7...most guys want that position if you ride hard.

Now I remember - Welterracer is only describing his feeling when riding his new sled. He is feeling what Yamaha and the Japanese people are referring to as KANDO (japanese word, hope I spelled it rigth). Yamaha has it as a philosophy that all customers should be feeling KANDO when using any Yamaha product. Kando means a feeling of wellbeeing, you feel great when using a product and that you cannot wait to exprerience that feeling again. And of course KANDO will have an impact on the bottom line when it comes to financial figures. If they succeed with this philosophy customers will be coming back to them in the future. :ORC

I gesse if all the sled makers go that route then my 03 will have to last a long time .

As if it was not bad enough to have to deal with the 2-Smoke bashing, now we have to get it from the guys on our side?

Its really not as bad as you think Tom...if you take a good look at the attack and sit on one you might like it? Its a really good riding sled but I can understand if you dont ride hard then you really dont need the stand up position at all ...so the RX-1 or warrior IS a better choice and is PLENTY fast and also rides good! The newer style sleds are more geared to compete with the SKI-dud competition that last year sold the most sleds because thats what most riders want ..."stand up" and aggressive riding ditch banging riding style sleds and the age group thats buying these sleds is very LARGE..so they have to go for market share and have done a great job at it...I talked to my dealer yesterday and he says they are selling more Yamahas than Poos or Doos this year for sure! :yam:
