no codes I think it might be the throttle cable the throttle was really touchy

Maybe! But wouldn't the throttle override kick in.

I just went out to try to start again I have to hold throttle part way and it starts but as soon as I release throttle it shuts down! I notice the gem controller blinks
#1 green #8red back and forth!

okay I figured out the start issue I removed the eabc (http://www.mountainperformance.com/Files/Download/TSB-1505 EABC fixA.pdf) and starts no problem but the rpm was stuck at 4000rpm

The EABC doesnt effect starting. And with the ignition just turned on, the gem green and red light which your talking about will dance back and forth. Once started after a few seconds it will remain on the green circuit.

I only have 200km on the kit so far and it's awsome.. the power puts a huge grin on my face every time I nail the throttle.....
Highly recommend a turbo for the viper...
The weather turned crappy for the last 4 days averaging +2 to 4 c with rain today trails and lakes are too bad to ride hope it gets cold soon to keep the snow we have left..of course I put a turbo and I'm all excited and weather doesn't cooperate
I can't wait to get more seat time and will report back but so far
