First, I love my 2006 attak when I'm on the trail. It doesn't matter if it's rough or smooth. The problem is when I go off trail, witch is about 10-15 % of the time. I thouht of a new rear suspension but, too expensive. I thought of going to 144, with 4" ext, but that doesn't correct the track approach angle that causes the trenching. I read on here about just moving rear skid back 4". Fixes trenching, but heard that causes bad handling on the trail.
Now here is my thought. Could I move my rear suspension back 2" and add just a 2" ext. to it. (shorten a 4"ext) I'm thinking that would help the approach angle and keep the good trail manors.
Any thoughts on this?
