the kill switch button on my 2008 fx Nytro is broken off.Is this an easy fix? Can I replace just the button?

It's not called out as a unique part number in the parts list. You may be into a hundred dollar bill for replacing the full assembly. Or, if you're in Canada, it will cost about 12-million dollars.

They were added to the parts list last winter I think. Call port yamaha and he should be able to hook you up with the button.
This is from the Apex forum so not 100% sure it applies to the Nytro:

Even tho they are not in the part list (not even for the old RX-1) I was able to get one of my dealer, he said Yamaha had them but not advertising they do. Talk to your dealer, he should be able to get one, crazy to change out the whole assembly .... the same goes for the HI/LOW beam button.... crazy, you can get that one too from your dealer.
