I broke the little red button off and have a new one, but I can't seem to get this thing apart. Anyone replaced the kill switch? What is the trick?? I 've taken the inner covers off but can't seem to pull the switch assembly apart, not sure what it is caught on.

Mine had 4 screws however there are two on the outer cover then two underneath holding the switch in place.
Here is what I discovered for anyone else who runs into this; In order to slide the switch/harness out the end of the housing the kill switch need to be in the UP position. This is a challenge if it is broken however after several attempts I was able to get enough of it with the needle noses and popped it up. Then the harness just slide right out.
Getting the new one in position with the rubber gasket in the proper position is a fight. Mine still isn't it the right position, I am hoping it will work it's way into the right spot.

Had to replace mine last year. I believe I used a dental tool from princess auto and some tweasers to get the rubber gasket in place correctly.
