I dont know if this site cares if its members get taken for a ride by its sponsers but i spent good money on a promise for Chris at lake effect that I would have my riser before i leave on my trip today. and still no product . it should have been shipped out last friday and recived by wed at the lattest. when it didnt show up I sent emails to Chris with no responce at all as far as i know at this point he took my money and i may never hear from him again. Talk about piss poor customer service. I always use site sponsers for every thing i can and I have become acustom to the finest customer service one can find. This is not true with this company and I just wanted you all to know it.
 
Wow that stinks, Chris shipped my risor almost before I asked for it. I have met him in person at Hay Days. He is not a crook but I understand where you can think that, trust no one in this day and age.

I am positive he has a good reason but it doesn't help you out on your trip sorry man. That is a bummer...
 
I have met Chris at his shop in Gaylord a few different times and at different events/shows. He is a great guy. I'm not sure what happened to your order but I know he is not the type to "take your money and never hear from him." Did you get a tracking number? Maybe he's sick, maybe it's the fault of the shipper... I don't know but this is not like him.
 
X3 on chris usually being very good. Did you call his cell? Not that it is an excuse, but He mentioned a sick family member a few weeks ago. Try his cell, he will usually return a call within hours. Sucks you won't have it for your trip, but I hope you enjoy your trip and don't let this get you down. I can assure you that Chris is not a theif.
 
I definetly am not going to ruin my trip over it and i definatly didnt want to go this far but when some one just flat out stops returning emails the moment you send them money that is no way to do business regardless of you personal issues.

I have recently dealt with Chris and he is a man of his word. Things happen and this isn't Chris only gig so befoe you go bashing someone take a second and ask on here if anyone has heard from Chris or any other site sponsor. A riser isn't going to make or break anyones trip so next time before the bashing starts ask around. And in my eyes family comes before anything especially a riser for someone. Do you goto work when a family member is really sick or dying? Thats whats wrong with alot of things today. ME its only about ME. Well I hope others don't read this BS and buy from someone else. Hope all is well Chris and don't let this bother you one bit.

go blow this crap out you own butt I have every right to know what happen when i sen money to someone if you have a problem with that i dont care. if you have problems the so be it my responsibilitys dont end when i have a problem and you have no right to judge me.how about if you buy something from a perfect stranger and send them an email the day yo sent them money and the sent two more emails and no response and it is now days past promissed due date. after you gave them 3 chances to respond and they dont you would be pissed too. chris has now sent an email to me and all may be well we will see. but it dont change the fact that i was left in the dark as to what was going on while my money was already spent. completly unexceptable no mater what. so now you come on here after the fact and spit out all this at me who are you my banker no so shut the f up!!!

HOOOOOLLLYYY! Its probably happened to all of us before. Chris or any other seller has a business to run, a family to look after, and put in some time for himself. Dont expect him to be sitting next to a laptop all day waiting to make sure your emails are replied asap. As for the "promise" of it being to you in time im sure theres a reasonable explanation for the mishap so theres no need to be gone right outa it over a riser...

there is no reason to jump all over me when i gave him all the chances in the world i didnt bash him with out following site rules and giving him a chance it was 3 seprate emails over 9 days. business is business i didnt fly off the handle either till some one thought i didnt have the right to be upset. this is also not the first time this business has been the subject of not returning call/emails now as i look back it comes up all the time it seems. I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO EXPECT PROPER SERVICE FOR MY MONEY. Now when you want to show your suport for your friend thats fine but dont even try and tell me how I should react.
 
The problem is Thor that you reacted in a "public" forum against a site sponsor that many people have had very positive experience with. Your comment that people shouldn't tell you how to react fails to recognize that it is exactly what you are doing to others with your comments. There are better ways to make a legitimate complaint. Your method, I think, is what most people would generously call dickish. And it makes me wonder why, if it was so important to have the riser for your trip, that you weren’t clever enough to place the order sooner.
 
Well guess I hit a nerve. I understand its your money and you were told you would receive the item by this date but stuff happens and to bash someone over something so petty like a riser shows your true colors. Like I said its all about ME and you are definately one of those people. If you ever come to Maine to ride or visit let me know I'll show you around and how I do things bud you can count on that.
 
Maine has lots of trails and some nice people. I'm sorry if I made you angry but I just don't agree with how you did things. You are right and it is your money and I myself have run into problems with a vendor before none of the sponsors on this site but a Yamaha shop in the mid west area. I did however go thru all avenues before I said a bad thing about this particular company. Matter of fact it was months later before I ever posted a thing about this company. I do believe if you would have given Chris a chance things would have been different. You may not have gotten your riser before your trip but things happen sometimes beyond anyone persons control. I hope everything works out for you and I was serious if your ever in Maine I'd be happy to show you the area trails and some great spots. There are areas here that you get treated better and their hospitality is second to none and then there are places that just take your money and want you out the door. Hope things work out for you and no hard feelings. Good luck
