hey guys, I just picked up my 2018 sidewinder on Monday, and in the garage I’ve noticed that the led accent strip in the headlights don’t light up, both high and low beams work, but not the strip on the top, my dealer is closed today, any ideas??

With the key on and engine not running, they don’t turn on, then when you turn on the machine and the motor is running, they don’t turn on either

Called bob in twin lakes, he said most likely the headlight assembly will need to be changed, I told him I was going riding this weekend and if I could bring it by after. He told me no problem, and that he’s ordering my assembly today. Keep you all posted

Update, got back from my snowmobile trip, brought the sidewinder to recreation plus and they had a new headlight assembly waiting for me, they put it in, and got it back same day

Glad to hear someone is getting good service. Way too many complaints about bad dealers and back ordered parts.

Similar to me. I lost my one headlight on my first trip out. Brought it back and they tested it out determined it was circuit board and they swapped the headlight out with one on the floor. Out the door in little over and hour.

Bob at recreation plus in twin lakes has ALWAYS been a pleasure to work with. They guy always has parts, and if he doesn’t he usually gets them the same week. I would recommend him to anyone. I was so happy with the sidewinder on the trip. It did everything I wanted to do, no problems. Idk why people complain about the skis. It handled just as well as the other guys I was running with. Again. What ever I wanted to do, it did it
