Anyone install any extra lights on their Nytro. I had a friend that ran some small Halogen lights last year from Princess Auto. They were Yellow in color and actually worked pretty good in certain conditions . Only problem is they didn't seem to last very long.
I have HID's to install for better lights but I was thinking about some smaller led's for the front bumper that I plan on building. Sometimes we pull up to warm up shacks and the lights don't work so we usually shine the sled lights through the door to help or a buddy breaks down at night and we need to fix something . Worse thing about that scenario is the sled could overheat, with some good LED lights we could shut the sled off and still have light. I was looking at some small 3 watt super bright LED's that guys mount to the bottom of their rock crawlers. They are only about 2" diameter each and look like they light up pretty good .

I don't think LED's shine very far is the only thing unless they are used in a flash light and a way to focus the beam. With the 35 watt HID's and 2 3 watt LED lights I would still be under the stock light wattage pull for the stator.

LED LIGHTS

I have a couple of these on my adventure bike and love them. You can buy them in spot or flood, and different colors. I have the white so I can see really well at night and cars can see me during the day.

I mounted a pair of the Dually LED's from Rigid Industries and really like them. Super bright and the spots go pretty far. They cost about the same as the Yamaha HID headlights. I have a switch set up so I can turn them off for oncoming sledders. My riding buddy likes to ride behind me because I light up the trail for him.
