have a 2010 nytro, left handwarmer wasn't working, had dealer install brand new RSI warmers, tried it out yesterday, same exact issue, left not working
is there a fuse or something that would cause just the left one not to work ?

Not for only one. I would guess its the wiring under the bars where it all plugs in. Follow the wring down and make sure everything is plugged in correctly.

how would you test for power to the handwarmer, do you need to run it above 4k on a stand, I've read somewhere that they dont turn on till your going above 4k rpm

First check to see if it has s complete circuit by testing resistance on the grip itself then I would 2 wires from the batter as test leads to see if it warms up.
You could also flip flop the connectors that feed the grips to see if the other one heats up.

when I first put my RSI grips on I didn't think they were working- had my buddy who's an electrician check them out and he said they were fine...it's like the needed to break in or something, cause now they work great

They will need to be over a certain RPM to work... and under that RPM they are off. For the life of me I can not remember the RPM...LOL
