Left Handwarmer

I have a 2011 xtx with about 4600 miles on it and the other day i was riding and my left handwarmer quit working? anyone else have issues with this if so is there any fix to it other than buy new ones? Hoping to have it fixed by the weekend if possible!

they seem to fail ,look for any open wire ,check and make sure the wire has power going too the grip ,if power there, not too expensive ,replace with new one

One guy told me to look closely for melted spots on the grip. If you see any, its done. Not sure but worth a look I guess. And he also told me there is a connecter with two black wires inside a rubber boot attached to the frame under the hood. If you unplug it you should have just over 7 ohms resistance on the grip side of the plug in. Likely someone else will advise if this is correct info or not.
