i own a 3000w yammi inverter, those things are fairly heavy,in the fall i load it and unload it from the truck every weekend, but i'm getting fed up of asking someone for help everytime, and i also just got a dbl hernia surgery,so saving my body is priority now,i built a stick boom that just slides to the front rack, run the winch cable in the pulley and now i can load the inverter with the push of a button, then i remove the boom and i'm done,i'll take some pics and i'll post them as soon as i have a chance, then you can tell me if i'm crazy or not,the front squats quite a bit but i dont think i can break anything,as anyone ever attempted this

I'm interested in seeing the pics, as I am always building or fixing something. The last couple days when asked "What are you McGivering now", I answer "When I send my wife out to put the lawn mower and heavey things in the back of the truck, she starting to have trouble, so I 'm building her a crane for the back of my truck." lol
I am building a crane , but maybe awhile till it ready for pictures.

Looks real good and much easier to build than a truck crane. Hope the rear of the quad comes off before the front rack gives.

the rear almost comes off the ground, that's with a 140lbs load

if you could brace up the bumper some more and just put some counterbalance on the back this could be used for much bigger things. If I were you I would actually consider bringing this idea to a company. seriously... I know of and am a person that would like to buy something like this. My pop is always killing his back lift wood and other stuff in his pan.

i will have to tweak it a little bit,but it works very good,i might have to attach it a different way,to spread the force more evenly on the front rack

If your modifing anyway. For heavy lifts a moveable lift point closer to the quad would allow a heavier lift.
