What is everyone using for headlight bulbs aftermarket?? i want a go hid but im sure a lot of people will be pissed of at me on the trails if i did that.. So whats a good bulb to go with.. I bought bulbs for my last apex at royal distrubating and they worked really good too!!

A lot of guys are going 4300k HID's. They be brighter definitely, but hopefully not blinding.

Another option is Silverstars, which are more white/ brighter than stock.

I am going to pick up some silverstar ultras, the HID kits are sweet, but I cannot drop that kind of money on an HID kit.

- Are the Silverstar Ultras a direct replacment with no extra wiring?

- The HID are plug and play right?

Thinking about upgrading John?
I am curious, after reading all about HID kits and aftermarket bulbs if my lights will be bright enough?

The Silverstar Ultras are a bulb replacement. They are easy to swap out.

The HID kits, whereever you get them from, will be similar to install. It is not difficult at all. I bought mine from Snowdog earlier this year.

Here's how they look......

Can't wait to try them on the trails!

- Always got to stay one step ahead buddy!

I have DDM hids in my bike and truck. I will never go back to regular halogen again. Currently I have Royal Distributing 130watt Xenon in my Apex and last year they seemd very bright compared to the crappy stock lights. I have no doubt the HIDs would be even better.

ya i know they would be bright every vehicle i have owned has them in it and i just bought a new grand cherokee and have to order soem more just wondering how they would hold up with the pounding in the drifts and stuff...

Curious if these aftermarket bulbs last as long as the stocker lights and also curious if they draw more power and if so, can you notice the reduced juice in other areas like handle bar warmers or your gauges?

where can I pick up a set of the silverstar ultras for my 06 apex and 01 sxr? I think they are the same bulb for both sleds. anyone have a part number or a link as to where I can order them?

That is a good question, i hope not since i picked up a set of the silverstars. I think if you pick up the same Watts you should be ok,

I don't think there is a part number for sleds. I just got a set with the same watts as the stock bulbs. I have a phazer and the bulbs are 60/55W.

I got them at a store called TSC or canadian tire will have them too but not too sure about anywhere in the US.

the UPC on the box i have is 0 41635 32005 7
I think that the silverstar product code is 9003 ST/2 but I'm not too sure.
