Blume enterprises brite lites. I just installed on my Attak and have not used on trail yet. Seem much better in garage. I have used these on many polaris in past, and was a big improvement. Twin packs are cheaper if ordered from Dennis Kirk. 100/55w are $26.00 a pair

PIAA Superplasma bulbs 135w/125w draw the same wattage as stock,light blue on low,bright white on high,over 6000mi with them>> very bright << cheaper than HID's.

HID are the best way to go. I put some in my Nytro and love them. I made the mistake of looking directly into the lights on high beam and couldnt hardly see for about 10 minutes. I have about $65 invested in my HIDs for my Nytro. Im ordering another set for my Apex later today. For the little added money over other bulbs its worth it. Shane

In my Attak I use Bi-Xenon HID's as there is only 1 bulb. If you didn't use bi-xenon you won't have Hi beams.......

What good are the high beams in the apex anyways? Mine shine so high I feel like I'm hunting squirrels in the trees. I read post awhile back on this problem and there were a few attempts but nothing concrete. Has anyone come up with a solution other than HID's?

Even the HIDs will shine up in the sky on high Beam. Seems most people have just adjusted the light so that they have a good range on high beam and crap on low beam. There have been some guys rig up some fixes as well.

There was a thread some time ago/year of two about adding a washer to shim the bulb back to narrow the difference between high and low beam.

I used two "O" rings on each bulb between the bulb base and the holder / reflecter base. From my National "O" ring kit. A #217 o ring fits inside a #221 o ring, used o rings cause I didn't have the correct size washers, but the 2 o rings are like a washer.
This narrowed the change from high to low so that both high and low are usable.

Also tryed Siverstar bulbs at $30 each, on my sled they burnt out the 1st season and burnt out the 2nd season on the wifes sled. They are brighter.
