I'm looking for pics from anyone with a Boss high rise or flat top seat installed on the RX-1 or the MTN MOD seat installed.

Which one did you go with and why? Anyone with one for sale?

Here's a pic of my Mountain Mod seat installed on my Vector.
I like the install better than the Boss seats as there are no snaps to install on the tunnel.

Im pretty sure from the pic that that seat is the Apex seat. I have one as well. All I can say is awsome. You have to trim the fuel tank shroud. I have neever sat on a Boss seat but I love the Mod.

As Black 1000 said, yes you do have to trim the tank shroud and it is the Apex seat.

When rumours of the new FX Nytro began to surface last year, I was seriously considering snowchecking one. But after installing the Mod seat, I opted to keep my Vector because it was so much more comfortable. Now maybe if Yammy comes out with an FX chassis 136" tracked sled, I'll start to reconsider again.

I completely agree. The seat and bar and riser combination are key to comfort.

Thanks for the info guys. I had the Boss seat, stock design and found it low as is. Now I'm going with 8" risers and the Mtn bars so it'll be quite the reach if I left it like that.

I'm going with the MTN MOD high rise.
