Lighting headlight when engine off?

Is there a way on the Apex to have the headlight lit and not have the engine running. I heard there was a way to do that on the RX-1. Thanks in advance.

It's the RS sleds that can do it.. Not sure if the 06 line-up of 4-bangers can do it.. On the vectors you turn the key on, hold down the thumb warmer switch for 10 sec. or so until the headlight comes on. MM.

I think the gauges come on when you do that as well.

On my 2 Rages you hold the thumb warmer down while you turn on the key.

If it doesn't do that, its easy enough to run a wire and a switch. Just be sure to put in a diode on the original headlight wire to prevent it from powering up anything else.

The guages turn on when you turn the key to the on position.
