Hello,
Since these are a rare set up I am looking for anyone with information on this turbo kit. I am currently running one and would like to talk to someone about jetting the unit. Currently running a 280 with a wideband that shows in the green(11) consistantly at wot (3/4). But I loose the top end at about just over 3/4 throttle.
When I open it wide I get a choppy throttle sound, like it is making to much boost, when I let off and go back to 3/4 throtlle is runs like a champ. Seems I have no top end...I have a head shim on the motor and running straight pump gas.

12lbs of boost but seems to want to give me more....gauge shows twelve plus when pulling hard. It only does this when I get over the 12-13lbs on the gauge.
I only run the seld in the mountains (valemount and mcbride)

What is your RPM at WOT Curtis, any chance you're hitting the rev limiter?

I do not think so Jim...but I will check on saturday when we are back in valemount.
What is the next size leaner in the jet? All I can seem to find around here is a 270. Is there a in between or does it just go from a 270 to a 280 being richer?
Jim, could this be a fuel problem as well? If I am over 12lbs and it starts to go funny should I be running a mixed gas say 50/50 or perhaps a octane booster? It only does this when I go to grab more throttle which creates more boost and then I get the funny sound....

Called them, great service....gave me couple of things to try, he figures that it is in the boost controller or the perhaps the timing is slightly out...but we will figure that out tomorrow. I will try playing with the controller tomorrow. He also mentioned to remove the tube from the controller and just run off of the waste gate...
