Ok, looking for some suggestions for a back up sled. I want to be able to limit the throttle on a RX-1 for less experienced "guest" riders..and then be able to ride full throttle when I take it out to play. Can any of you guru's make some suggestions for ease of use?

thanks

thanks, I was thinking something along those lines. maybe a cable clamp on the carb end of the throttle cable? limit how far they can pull.

Be careful with anything that will bend or kink the cable as it may not slide smoothly in the jacket after that. Another option you *might* be able to get away with is just loosening the cable way off. Then they'll be able to put the lever all the way to the bar, but it won't open the throttle fully.

LB exactly what I was going to say if you adjust your throttle cable so there is slack in the thumb peice it wont open the butterflys fully but about 90% maybe been a thing to look for when you seem to be lacking some power for years
