Putting the limiter straps in the #2 hole will do what to the sled? Some guys said the straps were put in backwards from the factory. Does the adjustment for the holes go to the top. That are what mine are at.

It does a couple things, one add ski pressure,so increased darting,or better bite from your skis, two it lowers your front shock travel,so the first part of an upcoming hole will transfer the bump a little harder to the second shock and you may end up with a little rougher ride overall, the trade off is handling. As it pulls the front of the skid down, also raising the rear up just a tad,so you will have more track spinning on take off,on hard pack trails it works good,if you go off trail let the straps out for full transfer.

I see lots of posts about suspension set up and I cannot believe all of the people that set their suspensions up for trail cruising on the nytro! If you are trying to make it handle like a vector/apex/viper you have the wrong sled!
Limiter straps all the way out, transfer set to max, leave front shocks set at factory spec, maybe dial them in to your liking and enjoy the nytro for what it was made for!
Don't get me wrong, I trail ride mine, it doesn't ride like my vector but I never ride that! Nytro is so much more, turn to turn it is the funnest sled you will ever ride! Off trail, once set up, its a blast! I love mine! That's why I still have it!

Pulling up your limiter straps will increase steering effort which is already Very excessive on the XTX.
I did a center shock upgrade (from a supplier who is no longer an advertiser) but it consisted of a much stronger spring and a valving upgrade to handle the spring.
It helped a lot with steering effort and I had no more issues with the limiter straps taking a beating from getting caught in the track.
I still have oversteer for the small amount of time I'm on trails but I can deal with that. I prefer that to under steer.

PS this should probably in the Nytro section.

I pulled my limiter straps one notch to improve the approach angle of the track and as soon as I did that it eliminated all of the trenching issues I was having. I tested it again by letting the straps out and found no benefit to it either on or off trail. Even with the straps up one notch I have no problems pointing the skid to the sky on or off trail.

Sooo if you can pull up the limiters up 1 and still drive trails, what do you bench press 14-1500 lbs.

If this is what you believe it takes I believe that you need to go thru you machine and look for an issue. I can ride the trails with only one hand like power steering, I guess that makes me a manly man in your book lol.
Seriously, I run almost full preload in the centre shock, middle shock is 8 clicks out, full transfer in the back and my blocks are on soft. I run a little more preload on the ski shocks than some others but I find I need to in order to counter the tippyness after adding the wrp seat bringing my centre of manly mass up higher.
You would make a good wing man if you want to brag me up like that, tell all the ladies how powerful I am.;)
