What does everyone think about an 09 Apex RTX. I like the higher seating position and the fox floats. Why does it have a different rear skid?
I loved my nytro but it did not have the top end I wanted. I plan on modding the RTX for better performance. I'd like to see an honest 120mph sled.
I read the rtx skid is a slower skid then mono set-up. Is that true ?

What should I look for when I'm looking at this sled. It has under 2k miles.

I see you are in Barrie. Are you looking at the one on Kijiji? Its been for sale for a while, it was in an accident.

Ya thats the one. I only saw the add yesterday. I'm going to look at it after lunch. Do you know how bad it was damaged. He told me he rolled it.

It was on Kijiji about 3 wks ago. The hood, front bumper, plastics, exhaust, handguards, right side of tunnel were damaged. Everything replaced but the handguards and tunnel still damaged. I didn't see it, this is just want he told me. I'm gonna keep looking.

RTX's are a bit stiff from what I know. Take a lot of adjustments to get right.

they do take quit a bit of playing with to get them right. they love the hard pack, seem to get dragged down a lot in the loose stuff. the low windshield make them cold. i have had mine for 2 full seasons now, and got mine to where i love it now! they are slower then the mono. i ride with 2 of them. sled handles the bumps and whoops really really well. you can pretty much keep your rear suspension soft. i weigh 220 with all my gear on.

I looked at that machine today. It was a little to banged up for me. It would be good for someone that does not care about how a machine looks. I'm sure it ran like new.

How much slower would an RTX be compared to a GT on the lake.

if your looking for speed go with the gt,rtx is geared low 22t gt 24t.
rtx is more like an off-road jeep and the gt is more like a sports car.

X2 the GTs seem to be fast.

I ended up buying a 06 apex with an mpi supercharger kit on it. The seating position is a little low for my liking but I want to put a taller seat and bars on it. It has a tracksusa 144 ext kit with a studded ripsaw. All the shocks are fresh from pioneer.

I took it out for a test ride before I put it away for the year and the secondary sticks open and machine does not want to move. What a pain in the #*$&@.
Can anyone piont me in the right direction to fix my clutch problem.
