The sled is an hour drive from me so I don't have time to make another trip to get pictures. Hopefully he will get the parts and have it running in the next day or so and I can go look again.

Did you end up getting the sled?

I haven't bought a sled yet. The 05 Warrior that had the voltage regulator problem has another problem now. He got a new battery and regulator. He put them in the sled and it started and ran for about 10 seconds before it stalled. He went to re start it and it didn't have any power. The 10 amp fuse had blown again. He put a new fuse in it and it started. Then the CDI box burned up!
So, he got a used CDI and put that in. The sled started up and runs fine now but there now a code is coming up. I think he said it was a pattern of flashing 5 times in a row or something like that. I guess it's a code saying there is a voltage problem like it had in the beginning of all this. But they checked the voltage and it is charging at exactly 14 volts.
I'm not sure what is going to happen now. He had to got to Michigan for 2 weeks to train for his job. When he gets back he is going to try and figure out what the problem is.

I have gone to look at a couple of sleds since then. One was an 05 Warrior with 4500 miles. They were asking $3500, but it was in rough shape. There was an 03 RX1 with 3300 miles that was better, but they wanted $3800 and I think that's too much money for it.
