looking at a apex

I have owned polaris and doos for the past 7 years, I jumped from yammy back in 95 to the rmk`s. Now I am back looking at yammies and the 4 strokers interest me. I usually run on lakes and trails, sometimes playing in the mountains but mostly trails and lakes. I can get a 05 rx-1 for 6500 and a apex rtx/rev for 8500. What speeds are you getting out of the rtx`s and the 05 rx1? Are these good prices?

nevermind, dealer only has a apex gt, but am still interested in buying it though. How is their reliablity, speed?

It's a Yamaha, that will answer your first question. Second they haul #*$&@. It won this years Shootout, so that should tell you that it hauls #*$&@, which beat the machZ and ZR900 and the fusion. Enough said....

yea, I found a apex gt for 9500, think I might take the offer. its an 06, anything to look for on it? gps speeds? So this is like the mach z for yamaha?

the only sled that has beat me so far is a Mach Z, other then that i have been extremely happy with the performance of my RTX.

Yup, My friends stock rtx beat a 04 F6 with twin pipes, Clutch kit, and reeds by about 5 sled lenths in 1000ft.
