Guys I have a stock nytro with a ulmer clutch kit and looking for more power. Is there a map or program out there to adjust the to advance timing like the reflash on the viper? Viper pulls away from me 200ft on. Have a Hauck fuel contoler but don’t think it will do anything without a header and pipe change. Thanks

Are you saying a flashed Viper pulls away, or a stocker? A bone stock Viper has trouble pulling away from anything. Lol

I believe both Mr.Sled and NosPro have had the Evo reflash done on their Nytro’s with positive results. Do a search and read their old posts about it. I’ve gone with the Hurricane/Hindle kit on mine. It’s a proven 18+ HP improvement and drops some weight as well. When clutched properly it accelerates really hard.

Did those of you that did a reflash have to change clutch weights to prevent from over reving?

I don’t run stock clutching in much of anything, ever, and I didn’t happen to ride my sled before putting the Hindle/Hurricane kit on either. It stands to reason with any major increase in HP you’re going to need some more flyweight mass, unless the power curve has been moved up X number of RPM and that’s where the clutching happens to be spinning with the added power. Either way, there’s lots of performance to be gained by spending some time clutching a 3 holer, stock or modified.

If you want to thump a Viper, even if they have the performance upgrades like header, muffler, air box mod and clutching, get the full Hurricane upgrade kit and re clutch for the change or get Dave's kit also. I run with 3 different vipers in my group, all with full upgrade kits and crush them all easily. Of course if they are turbo'd or super charged that's a different story.

I have the Skinz Super q exhaust no headers or major "performance mods" and off the line against my buddy's turbo'd viper we are neck and neck until he builds boost.
