Looking for softer ride on 07 rtx

I was woundering if anyone has any ideas on how to make a 07 rtx ride smooth before I Buy new ohlins for the front and maybe a new skid. My wife rides the rtx and weighs 130 so she finds it very rough. Any info would be of great help. Thanks

I've heard the seat on a RTX is firmer than the regular Apex seat. I'm looking for a RTX seat for my 07 Apex er, to confirm that.

Yes the seat on the 07 rtx is alot harded then all the other apex's. But the ride is alot harder also.

I wouldnt touch the front, check psi in fox floats with front elevated, drop them to 45-50psi and it will be great. The floats arent harsh at all but are a little stiff from the factory. Drop psi till you a-arms are near parallel with the ground and it will handle much better. If you want real soft for the back.......the vector uses the same skid, maybe swap out the springs and shocks with a vector. Should be plenty plush for a 130lb rider.

I have an 06 RTX with the monoshock suspension that I feel rides too soft and would be willing to trade you rear suspensions if you're interested. I'm just outside Buffalo, New York.

How many miles on your 06 rtx? I know that the bolt holes are different.

i do know my father's GT rides alot better then my '07 RTX. Alot more comfortable. i am 170 lbs and bottom the rear of the RTX on the highest settings... need to do some work in the off season
