Love to see people happy!! TURBO!!

Glad you found a new home for your "ole" girl :-)

I had a Ski-Doo guy run mine today. I told him it was up for sale. He wanted to take it for a sping on the lake and I said go ahead. When he returned I could hear him laughing in his helmet when he approched me. When he took off his helmet he said: After riding your sled I don't need my Ski-Doo bibs and jackets anymore, might as well throw them on the campfire and buy some blue clothing to go along with the Blue RX-1. He wanted to buy the sled right away, only problem he had to sell his Summit 1000 first.

Then another guy took my sled for a spin on the lake and when he returned the sled was loosing coolant. When he shut off the sled it dropped a lot of coolant. Back home I found that a stud had penetrated the front tunnel heat exchanger ripping a large hole in it.

I hope I can fix it soon. I may have found a new home for my "ole" girl....I hope :-)

That sucks, but if you clean up the hole( brake clean on a rag and make some key marks around the hole) That cold weld two part that comes in a tube that you neede in your hand and sets in like 30min IS UNREAL!! It will fix your hole for sure! I ran my sled over two years like this!!

Good Luck Skydog P.S. Never had luck with JB weld.

Hi Sky, You got rid of the old girl! I see you had a knock box on it. I have a question for you, I am looking at a turbo sled and was wondering about a knock box. What do they hook to, Price, Do they pull timing or just give you warning of detonation via light or something? The only thing that concerns me about boost is bad gas or the inability to purchase good gas on the trail and not knowing what is really going on as they claim you can't hear or feel detonation on these thing's. Thanks, Kevin

It is a senor that bolts on the starter bolt picks up knock/vibrations. It has a LED light that flashes and has a out put wire that gets ground under knock. ( i think ground) It works but knock can happen so so fast it might not help. But one thing i know is can not hurt to have this!

So it is only a light and does not pull timing? I know what you mean, by the time you see the light it may be to late but one thing for sure if you have detonation and keep it up you will have problem's. What is the price tag of one of these? I wonder if it could be hooked up to cut ignition maybe wire a relay in to the kill button and control it by the sensor? kviper
