I was working on replacing my lower a-arm ball joints and have questions around once the new ones are in how stiff are they supposed to be. One I pressed in (and it did press in evenly) i can't move will my fingers but if i put a bolt in it moves but stiffly. I had trouble with this one pressing in initially but put ball joint in freezer to see if that would help. Might of helped a bit since i got it in this morning but again it seems rather tight. The other side a-arm i can move ball joint with my fingers. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I have an 09 nytro and got OEM ball joint. Thanks

How still was it before pressing it in?

Wasn't stiff before pressing in. I could move with fingers.

It really should not have changed. I assume you pressed on the outer race and not on the ball?
