I guess that Yamaha handle this the same way as the rear suspension on the Phazer. There will not be any service bulletin that all Nytros should have new lower ball joints, they will only change those who have failed.
This way they only have to change the ones that does not hold togheter until the warranty rans out.
BTW, mine is in the shop right now for new parts, all covered by the waranty
