Does anyone have any experience with a Fast M10 skid with Ohlins suspension? I recently purchased a 2008 40th Anniversary Apex LTX with a 136 Fast M10 skid and duel remote resoivoir Ohlins suspension (Sweet!!!). Got to take it for a nice 300km ride yesterday on hard pack trails that thawed and froze overnight so there was not much there for lube. Anyways I burned down an almost new set of cheap sliders from the lack of lube and idlers wheels. See pics of skid setup.

I'm buying a new set of sliders this week and also want to add the Fast M10 Extra wheel kit to reduce hyfax wear. Fast is telling me that I cannot mount the extra wheels due to the location of the ohlins resoivoirs. Can these not be relocated? Anybody ever done this? I'm surprised a 136 wouldnt just come with more than 2 wheels up the rails! Also, what sliders go on the M10 skids? Can you get DuPont sliders for M10 skids?

Looks like Ice Scratchers are a must have as well!

I moved the resevior to the rear, just flip it over and mount to the rail. I do not use Fast for sliders or extra wheels, I go to a polaris dealer.

I run regular yamaha sliders on mine. Have just under 1k miles on the suspension with almost no wear on the sliders and I've been running down some hard packed rivers.

Thanks for the replies guys. Any chance you could post a pic of how you mounted it?

Aren't the profiles of rails different? How are you getting the Yamaha slides to work on Polaris rails?

The m10 on mine was actually setup to be run on a skidoo but ended up never being used. The rails aren't the stock ones I can tell you that much with 100% but anymore then that I couldn't say. When I got it the thing had no hyfax on it at all and I figured I was going to have to drive around and figure out who's would fit. I will say I had to slide them on backwards to cut the predrilled hole off as it was nowhere close to the mounting spot.

just slide the resevior out of the bracket, place braket on the rail where you want it, slide the resevior back into the bracket and tighten.
