After reading, reading, reading, calling, posting, you name it I finally feel like I have done right, the boondocker has got my name on it, I do this for many reasons, I would have to say the biggest was I have a friend I ride with that has last years turbo from boondockers, having another rider with the same turbo can help in many ways.
Now I almost bought the Stage 1 supercharger, but the question I was asked, am I a person that will always want more, well I say what do you think. aaaaahhhhhhh yea.
But I wanted a turbo that would give me great boondocking abilty as well, so I stayed with the smaller GT25, and I am lucky to of bought my sled from a master clutcher, that will help me make this boondocker a boondocker.
I came real close to the Power lites, "Alpine turbo", and due to the info I got on both they would of both done the job, second biggest reason for the boondocker was the fact they are located close to where I live, about a half day ride.
To anyone who is looking now for extra boost, I say this, find what will work the best for you where you live the people you ride with, and most of all dont think you know it all and dont hesitate to ask a question even if you feel it will make you look stupid.
Almost all of the turbo's, superchargers I asked about and looked at most of the big company's did a great job helping me get the info I needed, to them it was about performance not the money.
So in-return it wasent about the money for me either.
Sorry hammer, but I have to say that if anyone needs great non byas info talk to hammer he's the man that hit the nail right on the head, but I do know he is not the only one that is non-byas here on this site.
Keep up the good work power lites, I still have another place in the garage for the next apex.
Nuff said, now let it snow.

You won't be able to maximise that turbo on stock rods/pistons for sure!
Next winter I'll do the crank/rods/pistons on mine!

this is true, and I did not want to go that far into my motor, so I went with the gt 25, and i will do a head shim.
Some told me not to do the head shim, as some may leak if you dont do it right, but low comp pistons will go in next year, I will see how well the shim does this year.

Alpine is running 23 lbs of boost on the stock engine with a head shim with no problems you just need race gas and mcx has been running 20 lbs of boost on the stock engine with just a head shim.

boost 26 PSI
WE have worked with Derick at Purelogictunning.com and they were running Apex in grass drags at 26 PSI boost and stock motor with head spacer.
Tearing out drivers and running 4 post clutch with 90 grams arms.
GT2871 turbo and no Nos. running 103 MPH in 500 ft with full dress sled is fast. So much for lag!! and stock injectors!!
