04 warrior, all stock. Here is the problem....I like to get big air on jumps. 10-15 feet high is not uncommon. The problem is on the landing. It almost always bogs on the landing. It dont matter if I let off the gas in mid air or pin it....It will still bog on impact. This problem got ALOT worse last weekend at 10-12,000 feet. The bog was worse and lasted longer. twice it even died on me and was flooded when I tried to restart it. Thanks for any help. ===SRXSRULE===

Float bowls there is an update for them some 04 had them others didnt. Check with your dealer

im guessing the slides are dropping on impact, causing the bog. lighter carb springs maybe...?

No broken suspension parts.
Were the float bowl updates just for mountain RX's or all of them? Also, how do I tell if I have the updated version on my carbs? Thanks ===SRXSRULE===

holtzmen sells lighter carb springs, different colors for tension. i think blue is the lightest. these would probably work since your at 10 to 12 thousand feet.

grader...this sled is normally ridden at 1000 feet and it has the problem there also. ===SRXSRULE===

at 8500ft or 12,000ft mine has no problem landing from a jump with 10 feet of air. Must be a hit and miss thing on the 04's

Take it to your dealer to find out if you have the update or not. I suspect you dont and it is the floats not the slider spring causing this problem.

we found that when doing high speed runs just hitting a slight bump would drop speed. the slides will close on impact regardless of elevation. this is the only thing i can think of that would cause this, maybe someone else has another answer.

grader...but that wouldnt explian why the sled floods. Twice it died on me and it was flooded when I tried to restart it. I think its fuel related.

anyone know how to tell if I have updated float bowls? Local dealer wont even know what a float bowl is and I'm not driving 12 hours round trip to my dealer for this problem. Thanks ===SRXSRULE===

When you are landing your float bowls are sticking in the down or wide open position flooding your engine with fuel.

up dates

only the mtn,s got the up date carb parts. and i to found that my carbs would close the slide vales when bumps were hit hard causeing a bogg or shut down holzman springs cured this

call your dealer and ask if they can run the vin and see if you have the update. If not just have them send them to you. They should not be that bad to do. Wil save you a lot of driving from what it sounds.
