Stock primary spring
Qay-70's @ 71.3
9000rpm
Dalton BLK ORG V2 @ 6/2
XS825
Boost 16.8
Detonation light came on immediately so I added boostane 1oz to 5gal.
Light off.
Pulls strong then seems to hit a brick wall @ 117mph.
Conditions are not perfect, rough. Temps warm at 32°F
Stock Sled pulls speedo 115mph all day everyday.
Is there something I can look closer at while I'm here?

If you haven't changed gearing you are probably just getting to top speed faster.

I'm thinking get rid of the stock primary spring
I'm running ms17
dalton black/blue primary,
dalton quay70(76gram),
v2 b/o 6/2,
tock 35 helix
high torque rollers
xs825 belt,
td stock mod 3inch
CAI
.running 18/18.2 lbs boost, 9000rpm, stock gearing, storm1.5 track and studded

condition of track, tension of track, or size of lugs possible ?
Track is good, 1/4" sag, 1.25" lug
Boost, RPM, looks good...should be performing well.
Conditions have a huge effect on top speed.
Helix?
Gearing?
Not perfect but very doable. I've ran on this type of surface many times
35° helix
21/41

Speedo numbers are going fast. Then just stops. 117mph is too low to top out 21/41???

My clutch weight to achieve rpm seems low. I was expecting to be @ 74g+
I have a Dalton BLK BRZ I could try & a Yamaha Blu Wht Blu

Did you trim the intake barrel clamps?

You are limited by the BOV. At 16.8, it should still run out of gear.

I’m surprised the stock BOV holds that high.

21/41 should get you 124ish on the speedo.

Unfortunately, that's not going to happen. Made the move to a flatter lake....113mph . Also it was an afterthought as it's getting dark.
Tomorrow's another day. Just kinda thought it might be clutching. Uneducated guess.
