Just for the heck of it try one of your stock muffler tunes with your newly made muffler, see how that works, you are there testing.

21/41 is good for 126 mph GPS. I've done it, and I don't think the sled was over 9000RPM21/41 gears with 9 tooth 2.86 drivers, 9000 rpm, no overdrive works out to just over 112 mph.
5% overdrive would give you approx 118 mph
22/41 gears would give you 118 mph at 1:1 and 124 mph with 5% overdrive
Also maybe the tune you are running works better at a lower rpm...the hp could be falling off above 9000 rpm?
Maybe you need a bit lower RPM with higher gearing?

How many tooth drivers are you using?21/41 is good for 126 mph GPS. I've done it, and I don't think the sled was over 9000RPM
Hurricane gearing calculator shows 112 with 9 x 2.86 drivers at 1:1
126 would be a big overdrive....10% or so

Hmmm....I didn't know that. I'm having a paradigm shift. Lol.21/41 gears with 9 tooth 2.86 drivers, 9000 rpm, no overdrive works out to just over 112 mph.

I've been under the impression, for the last 6yrs, that the 21/41 could carry you to 125mph. Assuming speedo 125mph

I was thinking, for comparison sake. Left muffler behind.Just for the heck of it try one of your stock muffler tunes with your newly made muffler, see how that works, you are there testing.
I've did an incredibly horrible job in preparation. Left most tool behind, muffler, springs, I honestly thought this was going to be easy peasy.
I was wrong.
Trying to compile a list of changes from everyone. And then do one at a time.
My biggest concern, and one I cannot address is boost. If I cannot sustain 18psi as other member suggested. That would need to be addressed.
Also I'm pretty sure both springs may need an adjustment.

It will but you need great conditions and 10% overdrive to get there with those gears.

I am basically in a place where cell signal has been non existent for the last 30yrs. I cannot make a phone call. Lol. Probably fire off an emergency call, have no need to test it.time for draggy. Your phone btw should not require a cellular signal or wifi to read GPS unless it is fairly old. Some GPS apps want to download maps/locations/etc and refuse to work unless you have some internet connectivity. There are GPS apps that just give you coordinates and derived readings like speed but they will not be nearly as accurate as draggy which uses mems sensors to overcome GPS limitations.
I'm Using Verizon and from I've read owns the most towers possibly, yet here I sit.
My data is zero. And I rely solely on businesses for WiFi.

Try the Dalton spring at 6-1, it’s worth a shot.Secondary is warmer than primary & belt. Wish I had my stock spring with. Just to see.
Yes, I'll try black bronze & more weight.
It sounds like the 35° helix is like the "go to" helix. I'm not sure it would kill my top end???

We had the same situation on our lake in Haliburton. Last spring we started a project to get the lake connected. It was a lot of work to get enough people signed up and negotiating with a provider but we now have gigabit speeds at the wireless tower and every cottage has 50/10 internet speed minimum. My cottage is unlocked (part of the deal for my work) and I get over 600Mb/s which is significantly faster than I get at home.I am basically in a place where cell signal has been non existent for the last 30yrs. A simple GPS app (look for GPS speedometer) on your phone should not require any connectivity at all.

Lots of possible reasons or a combination thereof can be holding you back from better top speed. The guys all make very valid points and could be the problem… But the one thing you stated was your secondary was warmer than your primary.. Thats telling you that your getting slip… Start with getting your clutches to run cool and shift out on top… Make sure top Rpm is correct.. You should feel the sled run out of gear when it stops pulling and at that point you will need to address a gear change.. Conditions are everything when trying to achieve Top Speed if your using overdrive to do it I M O.. Let us know what you finally work out … Stay SafeI am basically in a place where cell signal has been non existent for the last 30yrs. I cannot make a phone call. Lol.
