Hey guys, I have been searching a lot to find out what can would be better for me without having the Police write me tickets. I cannot find any thread/forum with what I am asking.
Here is the dilema/ question
Does anyone know the DB rating of the Stock can, MBRP trail can and MBRP race can?
I know the gains are between 8-10hp at the crank. I am worried about being too loud on the trails and causeing people to complain and eventually get a ticket lol.
If anyone has info on noise levels with these cans it would be greatly appreciated!
And just in case I am asking regarding the 2014 Viper 4 Stroke sleds.
Thanks

I did some testing with NOS-PRO and the trail can. At idle the stock can was 93 Db and the MBRP can was 96 Db. At WOT the stock can was 101 Db and the MBRP was 103 Db. We did the testing on the trail with my sled with a stock can and NOS-PRO's with the trail can out on the trails. Both sleds are 2014 Viper XTX. Have not heard the race can. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, it defiantly helps out. That tells me that if the trail can is only up to 3DB levels higher, the race can wont be super loud! Thanks for the post. Once my race can comes in Ill post a video on youtube and a link here!

I suspect it will be, however, for the price of the can I can actually get both the Trail Can and the Race can for only $100 more than the price of one from Royal. If its to loud for the trail, Ill get the Trail can lol. On the other hand I ride with a bunch of guys have have some Big Bore twins and some triples and I know that they will be louder than me. I will post videos and some sound clips when the snow flies and everything is set up. Thanks for every ones help!
