Does anyone have the mc xpress turbo for the viper ? The 190 kit ? Don't read much about this turbo , my dealer says it's hands down the best kit out there , interested to hear ur comments pros and cons , thanks

so nobody runs a mc xpress ?
I have a 15Viper XTXLE with a MCX 190 I love it, i put 1000 trouble free miles on it this winter. I am at 2000ft elevation and i went to the Bighorns with it also 8000-10000ft without any problems. The only recomendation i have is to put the air intake outside the hood. It sucks to much hot engine air under the hood. Funny thing is my dealer also highly recomended the MCX turbo. My dealer has lots of experience with these turbos and pretty much every sled sold with a turbo gets the MCX.

What happens if u get stuck will 87 octane gas is it still drivable ?[/QUO
I have asked the same question and have been told by many that if you must use 87 put only enough in to get to some where with 91 and baby the sled dont useany boost. I mounted the BRP LINQ tank on mine with everything full thats 50L. That gives me a 225km range or more. I never had to use the extragas once all winter

Thats where a boost controller is handy Just lower the boost till you get good fuel into it. A must have if you will tour with it.

i got the 270 turbo, and a lot of buddies got the 190 kits... we all LOVE them. A couple people got the MPI, and blown engine, and ward won't cover it, YET... Still working on it to see if they will cover.. Mcxpress and the Hurr is what local dealers recommend

Maybe they have changed, but I did not have a pleasant experience with MCX on my Phazer. Bought a new ECU from MCX overseas and it came with a map with lean spots, a phone call later it was said to me it needed to be reprogrammed. Why send me a rather expensive ECU that still needs to be reprogrammed?

As it is not adjustable I put on a boost enabled fuel pressure regulator and fixed it. Maybe mine was just a one off problem but it was enough to put me off MCX at least for now.
