MCX 180 kit without extroverts?

Do you recommend 8 or 9 tooth drivers for my Nytro RTX with 180 MCX - 144" backcountry 1.75 track and stock gearing ?

And the driveshaft is 1" hexagon, right?

If you ever plan on running more than a 2" track, then 8 tooth is the way to go. But then you'd probaby want to go up a gear or two to make up for it.

Or if you wanted to run a 1.5" track with studs, go with 8 tooth drivers.

Otherwise just stick with the 9 tooth drivers. You'll have plenty of power with the stock gearing.

When you call avid to order the drivers they'll know the shaft size and everything.

Will there be enough clearance to the rail tips with extroverts, or do i have to cut them?

Thanks.

I don't plan on running any higher lugs than 1.75 , so then i'll stick with 9 tooth :)

The RTX has plenty of room, no need to trim the rail tips.

The XTX is the model that needs trimming.

You are good to go!
