MCX 180 Nytro eats belts - why?

Dalton Red spring works very well too with 70 or 80 degrees wrapping

And wash your new belts with some soft degreaser (i use the same stuff as i wash dishes with) That will remove the slippy coating and make a good break in easier...

I got the AC yellow spring installed today, with 60-70 degrees wrapping.

We'll se how it works, and I'll post back some results when i have gotten some miles on it.

We have been using the epi purple spring set at 10 degrees and have no belt issues so far

running the much preload will cause the spring to bind and not get full shift out. i have about 3,500 miles between 2 sleds with these springs and 1st set of belts to. running low elevation with short tracks might be fine with the yellow spring i know about that kind of setup

I ride at about 1000 meters, and have a 144" track, 19/39 gearing, yellow spring set at 60 degrees and the MCX turbo clutch kit.

How do you think it will work?

Have put 500 KMs with the new setup, mostly hard riding in powder.. The belt seems to last, but I'm missing RPMs.. In deep pow i only get 7600 rpm..

How can I get the last 1000 rpms?
