Having trouble starting my apex when cold. Have to hold the throttle open just slightly or it dies. Acts like it is flooded if open throttle all the way. After holding it like this a few minutes it will idle on its own. When warmed up starts and runs fine.

viperbusa - Your plugs may need to be changed.

Interesting, my MCX turbo Phazer does the same thing.

Do you have an AFR-meter?

Stock plugs gapped to 0.018" or 0.45cm.

Don't have afr on this one. Shouldn't it be running stock injectors when at idel? Or can I map it to lean out at idel?

I had the same on mine, was a faulty mcx ecu reading boost at startup when cold.

Did you just recently install the turbo or did this problem just start?
