Here's a weird one for you...

Say I'm doing 50k or so and steer left or right, and don't change the throttle, amy afr spikes from 11.3 to 13 or 14 and the sled bogs. Same thing happens when I hit a bump. Has me thinking electrical, I can't see anything in the way of the steering but its pretty tight under there. Would TORS cause any of these symptoms?

Thanks in advance!

Does your apex have power steering? Is your afr gage connected to the same relay?

No, it's an 06. No power steering. Also it's got remote start and yamaheater. My yamaheater LED just started to flicker. It works fine if you slowly build up speed. If you just crack it from a stop it will stall.

At face value it Sounds like a relay going bad

Probably not a bad place to start then... I left it down on the ice at the cottage saturday night, not too cold... about -08c and when I went down to start it it would turn over, catch and stall, turn over, catch & run for 4-5sec and then stall. I yanked the plugs out on the lake and they were soaked... With new plugs in she fired right up but still my AFR is still off I think. When I was in there I looked for any loose connections and made sure all was back tight, couldnt see any broken wires. Seems to be fine turning now, no issues with bogging.

I've been having trouble with a sticky BOV. Have a new one on the way, in the meantime Erik from MCX told me I didnt even need it and could take it out, so it's plugged at the moment. Would that cause significant fuel issues?

I'm getting my AFR reading from the MCX Display Unit.

Thanks TT.

What about inter cooler connections, are they all tight or is it leaking? Also check for cracks.

inter cooler and pre cooler connections seemed to be tight last I checked, but I will check that again for sure. Thanks!

BOV wouldn't matter. Could be an issue with the fuel pump as well. Also to help with the flooding issues during starting, you can disconnect the fuel pump by disconnecting the grey connector by the gas tank above the clutch.. Start it while disconnected to remove the excess fuel then reconnect and let it idol for a couple min.

Checked all that out, had it at the dealer all last week. Fired up and ran no problem each and every time they tried. They ran it around the lot, no issues. Found a slightly dirty air filter and hoped that that, coupled with fresh powder on the wet sock would have caused a lack of air.

Had it out this weekend working flawlessly for 40+ miles and then I filled up, for a few minutes after that it acted up and went away. We stopped and had a bite and went another 10-15miles where it started acting up the worst its been. I couldn't get above 40-45km/h. Every time I tried to increase throttle it would bog, pop and fall flat on its face, I could carry 40-45k as a speed but no more. Caught up to my buddies who had pulled over, let it sit for 5 minutes, fired it up and it went away again...

At that time, it was reading 10 to 10.5AFR and TPS showed in the 30's at next to no throttle. Thoughts??
