I was going for the s in san meaning three cylinder,but then I guess that wouldn't work as four in Japenese begins with s also. I was spelling from hearing it ,I don't recall seeing it written down. O.K. here goes, she,go rocco seche hotche co ju? Yup, I stuck my neck out on that one! Sorry for drifting away from the subject!

If the use the same designation as auto makers; RS would be Ralley Sport, RX would be Ralley Extreme.
The RS in my RS Venture stands for "REAL SLOW"....

From what I understand, the x in the RX was some kinda cross over designation....speaking about the motor. Crossover from the R-1 street bike to the sled. The S in RS I thought stood for a Motor designed for a snowmobile.
And...then again, I could be talking out my azz right now..lol.
