At the end of last season, I put in the Mechanic In A Bottle in the fuel, ran it until all warmed up. Drained the fuel until around an inch in the tanks. One 2 smoke, one 4 stroke. I did not start the sleds all summer until last week. Dragged the sleds out of trailer, added 2/3 gallons of fresh gas. Charged both batteries, cleaned the plugs for the hell of it. Both sleds started right up. They were in my heated garage, so NO Choke was needed. And the best of all . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I thought some said it was at Home Depot as well?
I phoned home depot Canada and they do not carry it only in the US. We need to get this product up here I wish Canadian Tire would carry it.

Me too. The only time I have ever had to clean carbs was on sleds that I have bought used. Never, ever had a problem with sleds I have maintained with sea foam.woolyviper said:i used to sea foam the 2 strokes (heavy dose) - run em until they were hot - fog em - shut down and drain the carbs. never had to clean carbs either.

I have used seafoam for some time now in my sleds and quads and I very seldom have to remove carbs for cleaning. I run it every few tanks and then a bit stronger in the last tank of the season. If I can I will shut off the fuel and let the engine stall out, them put it away. Never had a problem. Not sure if it's the sea foam or if I am just lucky.

First time I did that was the first time I had to clean my carbs if your going to do that drain your carbs instead.

First two seasons with my RX1 I used stable and had to clean the carbs. This year I used Seafoam and didn't need to touch the carbs. The sled was stored the same each time with the exception of Seafoam instead of stabile.
