I think I messed something up on the secondary when changing the belt on a 2009 nytro. I used the belt change tool to compress the spring, belt came off and went back on fine, but when I removed the tool, the spring did not pop back. Any ideas?

Ya gotta wiggle that new belt around to get it out near the edges, It's holding the clutch open. Or, lift the track, start the sled and cycle the clutches for a second, should fix itself.

Yep. The belt is down in the sheeves. As soon as the track spins it will come back up.

Did you put the belt on in the correct direction? You have to be able to read the numbers or stamping on it when you're facing the clutch side. Just wanted you to know that, because these belts are directional.

Yeah, I made sure I put it on in the correct direction. Thanks for checking.

Break her in nicely and usually they will last many miles of abuse before blowing.
