that has chunks of cast in it. take that filter to the dealer and odds are they will want to see the unit.
last time i saw chunks like that was from a failed timing chain that had a cam bolt go through it. pulling chunks of chain guide mount out of the pick up strainer sucked on a 2 hr old rebuild that took 5 months for the parts was a bit frustrating.
