A friend of mine has a 08 Nytro RTX. It´s well broken in with 4000km on the speedo and it´s completly stock. Recently he has started to experience a mid range bogging. It´s really hesitating before the sled takes off. Could it be that it now well broken in and running lean or something? Any other theories?

Check the drive belt deflection, possibly it has never been adjusted?

I notice that with my 2011 rtx and it only has 1000 kms. Its in right now for its first service so we will see how it is now.
What should the deflection be?
A little above on the secondary and a inch of deflection at a certain lb push?

The way I have done it is make sure the sled is at running temp by taking it for a short run. Put the back end on a jack stand to lift the track, and at idle you should be able to move the track forward with 2 fingers. If the track is moving on its own then the secondary is too tight. if you cant move with 2 fingers the secondary is too loose.
Good luck
