Midwest snow report

Correct! We missed the rain in Florida, but it was very cool down there. Highs in upper 60s and 40s at night. Key West was the warmest at 72°.

There was more snow on the ground, south of Nashville, than I've seen in Indiana in two years.

Crazy winter!
I saw the weather patterns dumping snow in the southern region. Wonder if they're thinking about opening trails to us?!?! Hahaha.
I can't remember a backwards, turned upside down season for most of the country. I didn't believe in "El nino" up until this point.
Snow came in fast & hard in Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin. Then followed up with 40's, 10days later. I'm sitting in a 1/2" of mud. Haha...F£¢℅!!!

Haha..It's not quite May 1st yet. All I need is 1" on the ground & cold temp

Say it ain't so...:eek::mad:
14 day forecast is garbage.. Its not cold enough for LES... so relying on system snow? Check mate. She was singing about a week ago when the warm up came... Did they cancel St. Germaine or Bents? I have not heard much.. I guess when you don't spend any time up that way because its 35 degrees out every day you don't here much.. OR maybe I dont spend any time on spacebook

St germain is and I don’t see how bents happens either. I think some of the lakes will open with 45 degree temperatures this week.
bents live stream shows slushy lake

Not sure I would drive out with trailer and vehicle if the 14 day is evenly remotely correct. You ever notice they are usually never wrong on mild temps , BUT ALWAYS wrong on snow totals. Heading up Wednesday with ice fishing gear.. I will pack my Jesus sandals just in case.. Maybe throw the jet ski in.. O wait I dont have one .

East central Minnesota is toast, brown, people falling through on the lake. I was in Duluth this weekend for an event, no snow there either. Not looking good for my trip to north central Wisco 3rd week in Feb. Ugh.

I know it all looks like a bad dream, stick around cause it will change… Think winter will return in mid February for a couple of weeks of trail riding … Lakes not looking like they will be very safe at all .. Not sure I would take a chance on ice… Its the third year in a row of mild weather/ warmer temperature in my area… But thats not the case in all area’s ..

Not looking good for annual Weenie Roast up in Cable, WI March 3. They're pulling trail markings in many places up there.

December was the killer in WI and UP. It was rain and above temps for 5 straight days /highs and lows over Christmas in the UP. . It effected the entire season.. Way to warm and NO FROST. The pattern changed for 10-12 days and now back to December pattern.. Im not holding my breath that the trails open or are rideable for this season..

They can get snow still but the problem is all the marshes are open
Really leaves it pretty much a done deal
Stinks but I guess get everything ready in case and there’s always next year

Wonder if I'll get a refund on my trail pass?! Lol.
I'll have to let this one Stew for a moment....
With the SxS business up there do they really need our money? I bet not like they did before.
And let's not forget, come March 31st the trails are closed to snowmobilers. No matter how much snow is on them.
