Congrats on your retirement
The riding conditions aren't much better in most of Canada either. In North Western Ontario we have already been out more then last year though but very few trails are groomed and open. The safety of the lakes in our area is late as well although good and flat now for fishing and riding but not for trucks and groomers.
I live on the lake and the sled traffic is way down compared to normal. I have not trailered my sleds for many years as I just ride from the house which really spoils you. I only use my enclosed trailer for storing two of the sleds in the summer.
We had a big multi day rain event just prior to the New Year that normally would have been one to two feet of snow and that would have given us a normal amount of snow.
The winter is not over yet so hopefully things will improve.
