Last night I posted a question concerning removal of the aluminum frame that holds the battery and plastic box. The procedure I have been told, which I believe is accurate, includes the removal of a total of 6 bolts. 4 12mm, 2 10mm. I only can find 2 12mm. I for the life of me cannot see any other bolts to remove. This cage is hard welded to the delta. I did get at the filter, by removing the plastic curtain that separates the area where the electronic module and nose bag is located, and feeding my small hands and an oil filter cap wrench with a 3/8ths swivel socket and 2 extensions. Tight, but it worked.
Either this box is constructed differently, or I'm smokin something. BTW, this is a late production 06.

Oh! I see now. The cage and the arm that crosses left to right above the cage. I am on something. Thanks. Believe it or not, I got it done without removing the cage, albiet my fingers are dug up a little.
