Mileage Check on 2011 apexs

better than the dragon i had to tow home today. figured he could beat an apex. popped a piston before 500' lol. ill take petty yamaha flaws vs that

yamahahaapex

Sucks for him, but kind of funny. Yes the Apex has a few problems, but motors are not it.

I would much rather put in a few relays.

10,000km's

and what have you experienced so far?

2500kms=2 powersteering failures, 2 relay problems, warm startup problems compared to -30c startups which completely backwards, two handwarmer failures.

All in all easy fixes so not bad and spanking 165hp+ arctic kittys in 500' like theres no tomorrow lol. That 144" sure makes the loss alot worse for them compared to my old 136"

Your's is the first one I have heard of.

I was expecting to hear some failures on with the Gizzly Atv's and never did so it is surprising to hear you have had 2 with your sled?

Grizzly has been perfect but the issues wit powersteering to me doesnt seem to be the cold air but the snow that piles in the nose cone from nose diving. Hard to prevent it when you know thats whats going on even with vent covers.

From what I have heard the power steering does not like extreme cold and/or snow ingestion. Mmmm.... I would have thought that the Yamaha engineers would have designed a snowmobile component expecting that it may encounter cold & snow. LOL! Seriously, is this is common issue or have I just heard from a minority of people with rare failures?
