Find a Canadian dealer near you, call them, order them, they will ship to the US. That's what I did. No problem. One comment I have about the mirrors in the kit...they do not extend enough to see around my arm. On a straight trail you will not be able to see behind, however on any bend no problem. I may look for a mirror set with a longer stem. Any Yamaha MC mirror with 10mm threads will work with these mounts. I know the mounts CAN be order separately, because I orderd three pair. Believe it or not my US Yamaha dealer asked me to order them three sets of mounts. I believe they already sold them to customers.

Just a quick note, I used the 10MM mounts with the SkiDoo mirrors, which are 8MM. My buddy just added helicoils to the 10MM and they work great. The Skidoo mirrors are those for REVs with fixed windshield.

How do you order these? Seem to be a Canadian item only and I find no way to order from the USA.

You can order the mirrors individually from the Venture Lite. The clamps are the same as regular aftermarket left and right thread 10mm clamps used on bikes. Any bike shop (most likely your dealer) should be able to get them.
I should clarify that I haven't been specifically told by anyone at Yamaha that these are the same as the Venture Lite mirrors, but I went with the Venture Lite mirrors/universal mounts and from what I can tell they look identical to the Canadian mirror kit.
They work quite well, but could be a little wider if you have wide shoulders.

Wow, did you look at the price for the Venture Lite mirrors? $109 before shipping. Not sure these go on the handle bars, attach thru windshield similar to RX1?

You don't want the kit, you want the individual mirrors.
They are something like $14 each list price.
The kit comes with all sorts of way overpriced mounting brackets for the Phazer that you don't need.

Are the stems of the mirrors at the mounting end threaded?

Powermadd hand guards with Powermadd mirrors just like Dan's set-up. Only slight interference with my Powermadd (Cobra) mid height windshield at full lock.
The mirrors themselves are angled so that you spin them to change the mirror angle. The only problem that I had was that they buzzed and rattled at low RPM. I simply siliconed them at the position I like (fully slanted out) and now they are perfect!
Like Dan said, once you have them you would never go back to having to turn your head around to see if your buddies are keeping up.

I odered them from a Canadian Yamaha dealer and they shipped them to me. I can not find the page that listed the mirrors and mounts separately, but if you call them I'm sure they could help. The mounts were $4.95 each and the mirrors were $10.95 each. The mirrors are available in the US at any Yamaha dealer. My local dealer found them in the system.

I saw Mr Sleds nitro with a cool mirror set up. I think it is Nytro hand guards and then the bike looking mirrors mount to the bracket of the hand guards.
Look good, protect hands and can see.
I think I am going to do this

You can get the mounts separately and then choose mirrors. A wider set would be better to see behind when the bars ae straight. While riding it is very easy to see behind as you wind down the trail. They are threaded opposite so that if you clip a branch they will come loose at the locknut instead of possibly breaking. They should work with taller windshields too.

Good luck, I've broken off 3 mirrors so far.
