Mine has bad hesitation up to 6200 rpm's. Almost like it's lean. From a stop you have to play with the throttle to go or it will stall. Dealer has contacted Yamaha but no answer yet. ( 2 weeks) I have 1500 miles and it's been this way since day one. The tps has been replaced also.

Just wondering if your throtle cable is tight check that first, the only reason why i have hesitation (in the Mid Range) is because i installed a after market silencer and i need to adjust the weights they've said ?

They all do it!!! Not sure but most are not very noticeable unless you have a silencer on them.

Turk, thats strange as most of the aftermarket guys I know cant get rid of it and say it has to do with the Engine Braking Reduction System (EBRS)

Strange. I had a buddy ride my sled a couple of weeks ago and he said it had a hesitation 1 time. He must have done just the right thing with the throttle to make it happen because I have never noticed it.

if you like to crack on it like a 2 stroke it will, if you just hit the gas and go it wont....
So in other words if you are a throttle jockey, you will notice the hesitation on take off and cracking on it over jumps and stuff. I do know some are worse then others.

Also what I have noticed is that mine will have more of a hesitation when I run premium fuel. So now I just stick to 87 octane and it seems to run the best. Of course this is on a all stock sled.

I know one that they tested adjusting the TPS 20degrees or something like that. so the sled gets more gas all over. That helped but then the sled was BAD on gas.. The more i ride it feels like it could have something to do with the EBRS. Maybee the EFI could be adjusted to get more gas when coming of the ebrs...??

Mine did that when it was new... once I had 800miles on it.. it stopped doing it.. It used to to it... when I was playing in a field when I would hit the gas real hard and let it off quickly. I have not noticed it since. Maybe the CR10EK's fixed the problem??

I have the CR10EK and still the same. Not that.. Maybee you have adjusted your riding to minimize it? Mine has it less now and i think that is because I try not to slam tha trottle right away after engine braking.
