I noticed last ride that once again I am missing about 5 track clips and seeing as it is a few days delivery on the clip tool I ordered from Royal Distributors just wondering if it is ok to go for a few short rides until tool gets here? I realize you want to take it easy so as not to rachett track but a buddy says to park it.

are the missing clips in a single area or side? if randomly spaced, I'd ride it. Actually, I've used vice grips and a bfh with the concrete floor.

all one side and in total missing about 6, 3 in a row. I did about 30 this past summer but Yamaha dealer only had 25 of camoplast ones and gave me 5 of he called them speed clips (holes in them) all these have fallen off.
And do not worry always ride it like I stole it that is why I am on my 3rd subframe.
I am at the point that I am hoping someone will steal it.....lol

I have or had the same problem. Have you had a look up at the front arm of you suspension. The cause of mine was those two white plastic guides got knocked off then the bare metal took out the clips.
I had that same clip tool from Royal and broke it. But it looks like they will send me another one.

Thanks Revster, I just changed those plastic guides this past summer and they are still there. It is that one kind of clip that came off all the others that I changed no problems. Just do not buy the ones from Wpg Sport that have the slots in them.
If anyone in the Wpg area needs a clip tool message me.
Did you have the piler type of anvil type? I ordered the anvil type to use with my air rachet

the ones I had are the plier type, but maybe I should get the anvil ones this time. I have to call Royal on Monday and let them know what I want to do with the credit.
